Tis’ the season for giving, and that is exactly what Lockheed Martin and King Soopers did for the military today. USO Denver had the honor of visiting Lockheed Martin’s facility where they built 47 Holiday Meal Kits with all the trimmings for deserving military families. They also raised over $1000 to support USO Denver. King Soopers provided 70 $20 gift cards to go with each of Lockheed Martin’s meal kits so families could buy a main course of their choosing. USO Denver then delivered 37 of the kits and the remaining King Soopers gift cards to Buckley AFB for use in their Operation Warm Heart program and 10 of the kits went to Navy Recruiting District Denver / NRD Denver to assist their members. We truly appreciate having partners like Lockheed Martin and King Soopers that actively support Denver’s military community!
