On Sunday, USO Denver hosted fifteen military spouses and partners at their first Painting Party. Everyone had the opportunity to try their hand at painting a mountain landscape complete with snow, Aspen trees and poppies. Many participants had never painted anything before.
Not only was it a lot of fun, but these spouses and partners were recognized for their service and support of their military member, had the opportunity to take a break, and connect with others in their community.
Overall, we had a great time together and with the team at Whimsy Northfield.
Take a look through the photos, I think you’ll agree there are some pretty talented first-time painters in this group!
