There are countless ways volunteers support the USO, but they all share an abiding dedication to our service members and their families. Whether it’s helping out at a special event, cheering troops at homecoming, manning a front desk or providing a listening ear, our volunteers are the reason service members know they can count on the USO.

Here in Denver, we have a wide variety of opportunities to get involved as a volunteer from helping with the operations of our centers to administrative tasks, to event planning, communication and development, and more. We have a great team of volunteers and are always looking for people who are interested in helping us keep our military service members connected to family, home and country.

Do you want to keep military service members connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation? Come join USO Denver and become a part of the Force Behind the Forces! Since 1941, the USO – a private, nonprofit organization – has served the men and women of the U.S. military, and their families, throughout their time in uniform – from the moment they join, through their deployments and as they transition back to their communities. Below are a few examples of volunteer opportunities available with USO Denver.

USO Denver Airport Center Volunteer: As an Airport Center Volunteer, you will be working alongside 3-4 other volunteers as the host of our center, welcoming guests and orienting them to our amenities, preparing food, restocking supplies and keeping everything clean and organized.

USO Denver Center Logistics Volunteer: As a Logistics Volunteer you will help restock our centers with snacks and drinks, assist with supply deliveries at and around different concourses in the airport or around the metro area, and overall organization and upkeep of our storage areas and centers.

USO Denver MEPS Center Volunteer: As a volunteer for the USO Denver MEPS Center, you will provide snacks and drinks and engage in friendly conversations with the military’s newest service members and their loved ones, to help welcome them into the military and USO family.

USO Denver Outreach Volunteer: As a Volunteer on our Outreach team, you will have the opportunity to deliver programs and services directly to our local military service members and their families as well as the opportunity to raise awareness about the military community and the USO’s mission both here in Denver and around the world.

We want your warm smile, mission first mentality and about 4 hours of your time per week!
